If you become a victim of all the unhealthy and artificial food in today’s society you will quickly find yourself with clogged up arteries – which is no good. Salmon – Salmon is amazing for the heart because it contains tons of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3’s have been proven to lower the risk of arrhythmia and atherosclerosis. The American Heart Foundation found that they also reduce the number of triglycerides in your blood! They recommend eating fish at least twice a week!

Oatmeal – Oatmeal is great for the heart. It is packed full of soluble fiber and whole grains. It can additionally lower your LDL level or bad cholesterol.

Blueberries – According to a 2013 study, blueberries are amazing for the heart. They found that women aged 24 to 42 who ate more than three servings of blueberries per day had a 32% lower risk for heart disease.
