People all over the world are swearing away bread! Why? Well, because when you cut out bread you become healthier, and lose weight!

The low-carb craze has been going on and on all over social media! The diet does really work, but you never realize how much bread you’ve been eating until you stop. When you reduce your carb intake, the first thing you notice is how quickly the weight falls off. But it’s not fat you’re losing. It’s water! Another reason you might want to cut out bread is because it severely affects your blood sugar. The starches in bread get broken down in the digestive tract and enter the bloodstream as glucose, resulting in a rapid spike in blood sugar and insulin levels.

It is important to remember that all of these ideas can be modified to fit your diet. I am Vegetarian, so instead of the meat I would make a delicious chickpea salad, black bean patty, or sub out with vegan cheese and delicious vegetables. Happy eating!
