We all need a treat every now and again, but most of the time the store bought treats are loaded down with nasty chemicals. Make this tasty, healthy treat and you will feel completely satisfied.

All you will need is 4 everyday items that you probably already have in your home. It is free of refined sugars, oil, and all artificial ingredients that are found in most store bought candies. All you will need is five minutes of your time and 4 healthy ingredients, and you will be well on your way to a healthy candy in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/5 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Method:

Start by heating the almond milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Then, pour in your chocolate chips, stirring constantly until melted. Transfer the mixture to an ice cube tray, freeze and then enjoy! Yes, it really is that simple!

You can eat these tasty treats on their own or add them to smoothies, coffee, or melt in warmed milk to make hot chocolate. YUM!
