We use salt for tons of different things. However, it has many more uses than you might think, have you ever tried this?
Salt is good for seasoning your food and even resolving minor household issues. I use salt for everything from cleaning greasy pans to repairing walls. Yes, I said repairing walls!
Now, commercial salt is something that we know is not good for us because of the way it is processed but there are plenty of other options out there. My most favorite use for salt is unclogging my tub drain, while this does call for a few ingredients besides salt it still works amazing and will not disappoint.
Here’s how:
Ingredients:
- 1/4th cup of baking soda
- 1/4th cup of salt
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar
- 1 pot of boiling water
Directions:
- Mix the baking soda and salt together and pour them in your drain.
- Now, pour down the white vinegar as well.
- This will cause a bubbly reaction that you should allow to sit for fifteen minutes (long enough for it to do what it’s supposed to.)
- After this pour the pot of boiling water down the drain and you’re good to go.
